According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development -OECD-, Greece is the EU country with the highest number of students studying abroad.

With an estimated 51,000 students attending courses in international universities, Greece ranks 6th in the world by total number of students enrolled abroad. First in this rank stands Korea followed by Germany, Japan, France, Turkey and then Greece.

The United Kingdom is the most popular destination among Greek students.
