According to an "EL Gazette" investigation, London teaching classes for a General English course are as cheap as in China. Many language schools, which were accredited in the last few years, are charching around £1.04 per class hour; meanwhile, the lowest category of language schools in China charge an estimated fee of £1.80 to £4.50.
The latest visa regulations in the UK prevent non-EU students enrolling in these accredited low-cost schools, just to obtain a visa and not to attend lessons.
